(Group court mounted as worn) Victor Douglas Morrall was born on the 26th July 1919 and enlisted on the 27th July 1937, he lived on Garwood Road, South Yardley, Birmingham. He served in the 7th Med regt Royal Artillery., part of 4th Ind Div, 8th Army His POW questionnaire states he was taken prisoner in the Gazala area on 1st June 1942. He was held in the following camps: PG66 – Carua Naples 18th June 1942 to 15th November 1942 PG53 – Macerata 8th November 1942 to 20th September 1943. 4B – Mulhberg 23rd September 1943 to 1st October 1943. D602. 4D – Klitzmar Halle 3rd October 1943 to 14th April 1945. Condition – NEF
