With a copy of Short Service papers relating to a Leonard William Gosling, who was born in Caning Town, London, on the 13th December 1874 and enlisted into the Grenadier Guards on the 15th March 1892and served until 12th July 1895 (no medal entitlement) He joined the Metropolitan Police on the 11th December 1899. serving in S. (Hampstead) division.
