Description Punjab , clasp, Goojerat, John Riorden, 53rd Foot. John Riorden enlisted 29th April 1847, serving initially in the 94th Foot, transferring to the 53rd soon after. In 1860 he transfers back to the 94th. Discharged as being unfit for further military service, on the 11th May 1869. His papers also confirm he is also entitled to an Indian Mutiny Medal, clasp, Lucknow, and a Longs Service and Good Conduct medal in addition to this medal. Condition – VF, edge nicks and bruises, but naming unaffected. Suspension post slightly bent.
