Description VAOF16 Fused Quartz Macro Cuvette is a 16 ml capacity large cuvette designed for UV/VIS absorbance measurements with a 10 mm optical path length. It is made from high-purity fused quartz and is suitable for colorimetry and other spectrophotometric analyses that require stable optical performance and good chemical resistance. Key Features 10 mm path length — standard for most UV/VIS spectrophotometers. Large 16 ml capacity — supports higher sample volumes, suitable for colorimetric and solution analysis. Fused quartz construction — excellent UV transmission (190–2500 nm), high temperature tolerance up to 600 °C, and stable chemical resistance (except HF and strong organic solvents). 2 clear windows — optimized for transmission and absorbance measurements. High dimensional precision for accurate and repeatable results. Typical Applications Colorimetric assays and solution testing UV/VIS absorbance spectroscopy Biological and chemical analysis Environmental water quality and industrial testing Fused Fabrication Notes Not suitable for HF and strong organic solvents such as toluene and acetone. Powder seams may discolor over time but will not affect measurement accuracy. Dimensional tolerance: typically ±0.06–0.08 mm. This guarantees resistance against corrosive chemicals and high temperature. Each quartz cuvette and cell has excellent transmission from 190nm to 2500nm.   1 QVARZ Cuvettes Transmission Characteristics The following table is our cuvettes and cells made of quartz material suitable for wavelength from 190nm to 2500nm and depicts the percentage transmission for the material. IR or Glass material is not included. Why QVARZ Cuvettes and Cells?QVARZ is world-renowned as the producer of premium quartz cuvettes. Over fifteen years of experience manufacturing quartz cuvettes ensures that every QVARZ cuvettes are manufactured to the most exacting standards for reproducible results. Spectrophotometry cuvettes - Most spectrophotometry applications in the visible and UV ranges benefit from QVARZ spectrophotometry cuvettes. Our cuvettes made of fused quartz material deliver precise and reliable readings even at wavelengths as low as 190 nm. QVARZ cuvettes are compatible with most spectrophotometers and photometers with standard 0.2 - 100 mm path lengths. Fluorometry cuvettes - QVARZ brings two decades of experience molding high-quality spectrophotometry cuvettes to new four-sided clear cuvettes for fluorometry. Available in standard quartz material with ultra-low auto-fluorescence for the highest precision measurements. Protective packaging - QVARZ cuvettes are encased in dust-free, low scratching expanded polystyrene packaging. This ensures that premium cuvettes arrive in the laboratory ina the same pristine condition they were in at the factory, with optical quality windows and free of contaminants.  Volumes for most purposes - Our cuvettes are available in a variety of ranges from macro to macro semi-micro sizes to respond to the needs of most scientific applications. We are also able to customize sample volume to deliver consistent, accurate findings. Perform consistently - QVARZ Cuvettes are constructed from high-quality fused quartz materials and are grouped by manufacturing mold cavities to ensure the lowest fluctuation in extinction coefficient. Customization - Custom cuvettes and cells are encouraged and available upon request; mechanical drawings with specifications and tolerances are prerequisites. Awesome pricing and flexibility on small quantities.  To the best of our knowledge, the technical information provided here is accurate.
