• Rare soviet camera in working condition with the legendary Helios 44-2 lens • Special edition for the Moscow 80' Olympic games which were boycotted by the US over the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, ironically, as the US later also invaded Afghanistan • The pinnacle of the soviet era camera manufacturing, where most of the Brezhnev stagnation era problems were ironed out and some standardization had already taken place in the KMZ factory • Meter works but not tested for accuracy • Otherwise, all camera functions are tested and working as they should • Camera is used • Camera shows normal signs of use with bumps, scrapes, dings etc, though overall in good condition, please inspect all photos • All camera levers, knobs and buttons are in good working order • Lens is used, tested and working as it should, with no haze, fungus or scratches • The legendary Helios 44-2 is a true king of bokeh, basically an unchanged lens design from 30's Zeiss, using modern glass and coating available to the Soviet industry
