Description WW2 Naval casualty group, from Tavistock, Devon. 1939-45 Star; Atlantic Star; 1939-45 war Medal; Condolence slip, Archibald Lewis; Box of issue addressed to Mrs A.J. Lewis, in Torquay, Devon. Archibal Lewis was born on the 6th November 1885 in Tavistock, Devon the 1939 census records him as being a general labourer and Air Raid Precautions Warden. He served during WW1 in the Royal Navy (service no 305385) as a stoker, and is entitled to a 1914-15 trio serving from 8th November 1908 to 10th May 1917 , transferred to R.A.N. Died October 1946.
