Goerz Red Dot Apo Artar 30" [760mm] F12.5 Ultra Large Format Lens in Copal #3 (#2240)

• Exceedingly rare ultra long Artar, one of the very few of this focal length we have seen and certainly the nicest one we have seen • Sk Grimes built lens, using a latest style all black (black dot) Copal #3 shutter and one of the last Red Dot Artars to have been made, an aluminum barrel lens with a very late serial number and superb coating • An exceptional lens, in exceptional condition, exceedingly rare, not to mention in this condition • This lens covers more than 700mm at infinity, wide open, which is enough for 20X24 and more. As coverage increases with closer focusing, this lens will cover much more at portrait distances (as much as 2X more!) • This lens is used, tested and working as it should • Cosmetically, the lens barrel shows normal signs of use if any • Glass is clean, with no haze, scratches or fungus • Shutter is in good working condition and fires nicely on all speeds • Laser engraved aperture scale custom made for this lens • Includes flange but no caps We have lens boards for most cameras in stock, just ask.
