Description Very nice, untouched example of a U.S. Amry M1 combat helmet. Set consisting of an early number stamped front seam shell with early brass hardware chinstraps. The paint on the shell is nearly perfect with light storage wear. Inside the shell is an early helmet liner by Firestone. This set is considered early due to the unpainted A washers and early manufacture stamping in the crown. The liner still has its original leather chinstrap as well! WWII period M1 helmets in these lightly worn conditions are very hard to come by.
