M35 Luftwaffe ‘Normandy’ Camouflage Helmet w/ “Droop-Tail” Decal – (ET64)

Description Stunning and well preserved Luftwaffe M35 pattern steel helmet. Early double decal example, being oversprayed in ‘Normandy’ pattern three tone tan, brown and green colors, typically seen on FLAK related helmets often found. The early “droop-tail” decal remains firmly present under the paint as well as the national tri color decal. The helmet is complete with its original installed liner and chin strap. The chin strap is marked and dated 1938. Split pins remain straight and unmessed with. A stunning Luftwaffe camo, top shelf example that has a great look. Maker marked by ET size 64, lot number is 4097. Very rare to find an early droop-tail camouflage helmet!
