Army (Heer) ‘Afrikakorps’ Tropical Pith Helmet

Description Freshly found 2nd pattern Heer (Army) pith helmet as worn in tropical climates, made famous by the ‘Afrikakorps’, the felt wool is flawless and sturdy, the chinstrap is missing and the leather rim edge is there but in rough condition, the National Eagle and shield are both very nice, in my opinion this was an unissued example that was stored poorly. Overall an attractive example that displays great!
