Early Luftwaffe EM/NCO Flight Unit Marked Visor – (Robert Lubstein ‘Erel’ 1936)

Description Very nice high quality made visor cap with yellow piping for either Pilot or Fallschirmjäger, in this case it is for someone in a flight crew as the inside sweatband has markings for Fliegergruppe Wurzburg, Staffel 3 with the written name of Unteroffizer “Liedtke”. Near mint condition cap complete with its original early aluminum droop tail eagle up front. The exterior is beautiful and executed in blue wool. The cap retains its original saddle shape. Interior shows light wear, the sweat diamond with maker mark is present and shows the markings of Robert Lubstein, Gröste Berliner Militair Mützenfabrik (better know as Erel), with the date of 1936. Very sought after early enlisted cap in near mint condition, this is the best condition Luftwaffe cap I’ve ever found, it would be very hard to upgrade to a better example!
