Description Another item related to the Gas Mask is the Gas Cape. This is a very nice and hard to find example of a gas plane pouch that would be attached to the lanyard of the gas mask container, also known as a (gas cape.) This example is a light weight cloth version used fro tropical climates that would be high in moisture content. The pouch consists of the standard construction with the typical P.R.Y.M. pushbuttons, the piece is textbook and undamaged. Under the flap we see the manufactures markings “GDN” for (Wilhelm Stermann.) Underneath that are the letters “Tp” which stands for Tropen (Tropical.)
