Description Very nice, pre war binocular set recently found a veterans estate sale local to me.Complete with an early leather protective case, the case still has its often missing carrying strap. The case is maker marked by Hensoldt, Wetzlar, produced circa 1937, accepted in the Wehrmacht with an early waffenamt mark next to the makers mark. The Carl Zeiss 6×30 binoculars are in fine working order. The optics work great and the glasses are very clear. The original German soldier carved his name onto the front in the black paint. Fantastic set that was wartime used and perfect for a display case or mannequin display!
