RARE SS-VT Artillery Officer in ‘Kraftfahrtechnische Lehranstalt’ Shoulder Board

Description Very nice and very rare example that has been cut from a uniform of a SS-VT (SS-Verfügungstruppe) Artillery Officer in ‘Kraftfahrtechnische Lehranstalt‘ shoulder board. This board made with high quality black doe skin wool with red color indicating service in an Artillery unit has the rare ‘L’ cipher in gold as well as a single pip indicating the rank of Obersturmführer. The ‘L’ cipher was worn early on by members of the ‘Kraftfahrtechnische Lehranstalt‘ this was a Technical School for Motor Vehicle Transport early on, with the red piping we can see this being for mobile Artillery units in the SS. The cipher does not pop through on the reverse with the attachment prongs, this would guarantee us the cipher and strap have defiantly been together since the war. A great piece that is textbook in every way!
