RARE Early 1934 Dated SS-Totenkopf Honor Ring – (Identified)
$80.22

Description Hands down one of the nicest, earliest SS Totenkopf Honor rings (SS-Ehrenring) I’ve ever seen. The detail overall is near mint with slight wear to the high points, typically when these early 1934 dated rings are encountered they are heavily worn. The inside band is engraved with the early date 30.6.34 for the celebrated date of the Night of the Long Knives, only issued to the earliest of SS members who earned this ring. The band is also engraved with Himmlers name as well as the original wearers name “Kersten.” After doing research we were able to find this to have been one man’s ring. This was awarded to SS-Oberführer Hans Kersten, SS Serial #105-305, NSDAP Serial #102939. Kersten was born May 10th 1886, serving in WWI he would later join the NSDAP and SS in its beginnings. During WWII he was a Staff Leader in the Reichsführung-SS working under Karl Wolf, he was also a Füher “Leader” at Führerschule Dachau, the SS-Führerschule (leadership school) in Dachau was a key training facility for SS personnel, heavily integrated into the concentration camp complex during WWII. It focused on ideological training, military tactics, and management of concentration camps, training thousands of SS guards and officers before they were deployed to camps across Nazi-occupied Europe. This ring has everything one could want, a great service history by the original wearer, insanely nice condition, and very early production. Investment grade piece here! .
