Description Very early Allgemeine-SS uniform for an Oberscharführer in the 3rd Standarte (Nuremberg), 11th Sturm, Sturmbann III. You can guarantee this uniform was present as some of the biggest party events in Nuremberg. Everything on the uniform is tagged or dated to production in 1935. The collar tab shows the early thin font bullion 3 collar tab for 3rd Standarte Nuremberg, the red piped cufftitle would indicate service in the 11th Sturm, Sturmbann III. These color piped cufftitles were phased out in 1937. The RZM marked buttons ‘61’ would be produced by K. Fr. Brahm, Fürth. The tailor tag on the next tab shows the tunics manufacture K. Jordan Unterfarrnbach also located in Fürth. Fürth is located just on the outskirts north of Nuremberg. The shoulder strap is RZM marked and shows a manufacture date of 1935. The wrist has a small area that has come apart, this could be easily fixed if one wanted to but it’s not required for display purposes, there is also a small seam that’s come apart on the forearm as well. Overall an incredible and early piece is SS history that more than likely saw some of the Third Reichs most famous rallies!
