Description Stellar, textbook example of an Allgemeine-SS service uniform for an Officer in the 51st Standarte stationed in Harz. Left pocket shows loops for 3 awards. All the insignia is period sewn, the 51st bullion collar tab as well as rank tab are made of high quality doe skin wool, the shoulder strap shows the paper RZM tag underneath, on the left sleeve cuff we see the bullion cufftitle with Roman numeral III and the back side shows its original black cloth RZM tag, above it is an early boiled wool RZM SS armband. On the right arm sleeve there is an Old Fighter chevron indicating service in the SS prior to 1929. Overall an amazing example of an SS service tunic, Officer examples are far harder to encounter than the standard enlisted types, would display well with a nice black SS officer visor!
